Power Socket

Another on the list of missing photos is the socket for the power cord (a standard IEC plug). This was placed alongside the opening to the plug-bay, and is covered by the same, hinged flap. I also had a small surround cut from 1mm stainless, held on with the same screws as the plastic socket.



Marking, drilling the corners and cutting with the Dremel (another couple of discs turned to dust). I also drilled the 3mm holes for the screws.



Once cut, I cleaned the hole up a bit with a file. I wasn't too fussed at this point as the steel surround that screws to the outside covers the edges.
